Terms of Service
Effective: July 14, 2026 · Contact: hello@duebell.co
1. Who we are
Duebell ("Duebell", "we", "us") is an independent software service operated from the Republic of Korea. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Duebell website and application at duebell.co (the "Service"). By creating an account or joining the waitlist, you agree to these Terms.
2. What the Service does
Duebell is a tool that helps you draft, schedule, and send payment reminder emails for invoices you have issued to your own business clients. Reminders are sent under your name, replies go to your email address, and sequences pause automatically when a recipient replies and stop when an invoice is marked paid. By default, every email requires your explicit approval before it is sent; automatic sending is an optional setting you may enable.
3. You are the sender — Duebell is not a collection agency
Duebell is self-service software. We do not purchase debts, contact your clients on our own behalf, act as your agent or representative, or provide debt collection services. You are the sender of every message and solely responsible for its content, its recipients, and its timing. Duebell is intended exclusively for business-to-business invoices; using the Service to pursue consumer (personal, family, or household) debts is prohibited.
4. Acceptable use
- Only send reminders about genuine invoices you issued for work you performed or goods you supplied.
- Only contact recipients with whom you have an existing business relationship and a lawful basis to email.
- No harassment, threats, deception, or misrepresentation of legal consequences.
- No unlawful content, no purchased contact lists, and no use of the Service for consumer debt collection.
- Comply with the laws that apply to you and your recipients, including email and commercial-communication laws.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice, to protect recipients and the deliverability of the Service for everyone.
5. AI-drafted content
Draft emails are generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence based on the invoice and relationship details you provide. Drafts may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before it is sent.
6. Payments, subscriptions, and billing
Paid plans are sold through our merchant of record, Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd and/or Paddle.com Inc.), which handles checkout, payment processing, applicable taxes, and invoicing. Paddle's checkout terms apply to your purchase, and Paddle may appear on your card statement. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled as described in our Refund Policy.
7. No guarantee of payment recovery
Duebell increases the consistency of your follow-ups; it does not and cannot guarantee that any client will pay. Statistics shown on our website describe industry research, not a promise of results. Nothing in the Service is legal, financial, or tax advice.
8. Your content and our rights
You retain all rights to the invoice data, client information, and email content you create. You grant us the limited license needed to store and process that content solely to operate the Service. The Duebell name, marks, design, and software are our property.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for the acts or omissions of your clients.
10. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves; material changes will be announced by email or in-app before they take effect. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
11. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions? Email hello@duebell.co — a human reads every message.
